Yorkshire’s Got Talent – IDP Defenders Sessions

A fantastic opportunity for defenders to receive position-specific coaching delivered by Barnsley FC Academy coaches.

These sessions are designed to provide individual and small-group attention to detail coaching, allowing our staff and academy coaches to get a closer look at players in their specific positions and help develop key areas of their game.

Players will work on:

* Defensive positioning
* 1v1 defending
* Communication
* Reading the game
* Recovery runs
* Distribution and decision-making under pressure

At the end of the session, defenders, midfielders, and strikers will come together to play games and apply what has been worked on during the coaching practices.
